Refunds are at the discretion of the
Camp Registrar. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Camp Registration for out of town students
is Sunday, July 13, 2008 between 4pm & 6pm. Out of town students will receive a cell phone # in case of delays.
All Students report to the Band
Room in the Fine Arts Building at 8am SHARP on July 14th. (Mini Camp Junior High students report at 8AM Tuesday, July 15th) Do not be
late! Campus Camp can be found on the website.
Residents residing in dorms MUST bring
sheets, blanket, pillow cases. Casual summer attire (men & women) is permitted in good taste.
An evening outing will be scheduled during
the course of Camp.
Students must bring casual dress
attire for Friday Concert. White button up shirts for males; white blouse for females. Black or dark blue pants for males;
dark slacks acceptable for female students. Shoes MUST
be worn to Concert. This will be an advertised public Concert with an added attraction. The Concert will be held in the Brandt
Center-Swayne Auditorium beginning at 6:30PM.
Bottled water and fruit juices will be provided
during all classes.
No bare feet in classes. Flip-flop type
sandals NOT ALLOWED. Open sandals w/ strap are OK. No student will be allowed in classes with 'flip flops.'
No chewing of tobacco or gum in dorm rooms OR inside classrooms.
NO SMOKING, PERIOD!
Students are expected to act courteously at all times. No swearing, bad
language will be permitted. Violation means immediate dismissal without refund.
Students will be housed two to a room. If you have
a roommate preference, please let us know at time of application or at time of check-in.
Unreturned dorm keys will be accessed a $25.00 replacement charge.

Students should bring their own instruments and
accessories. Brass players: Bring your mutes! If you need instrument rental, please let us know before July 1, 2008. Drums,
guitar amps and 2-upright basses will be provided. We will also have a vibraphone. If you double on other instruments, please
let us know.

As a condition for the above named minor to attend the Great Basin
Summer Jazz Band Camp, we agree to indemnify and hold harmless Northwest Nazarene University, the Great Basin Jazz Band Camp
and their agents, employees, and contractors, regardless of responsibility for premises liability or negligence and regardless
of whether the negligence is active or passive, from liability for injury to the minor arising directly or indirectly from
the minor’s participation in the Great Basin Jazz Band Camp – Middle School Edition, including the minor’s
participation in recreational, athletic or housing activities, and from the liability to any person arising from an act or
omission of the minor.
We, the undersigned, understand that Northwest Nazarene University is a drug-free environment
and that consumption of alcohol or unlawful drugs or the smoking of any substance is prohibited at Jazz Camp and will be grounds
for immediate dismissal from the program without refund. If a serious problem of misbehavior of the minor should arise, and
in the judgment of the Great Basin Jazz Camp the minor should be sent home before the end of the Camp, we authorize the Great
Basin Summer Jazz Band Camp and Northwest Nazarene University to take such action.
